Aana Jaana: Opportunities For Increasing Air Connectivity Between Victoria and India
As the world opens up again, the Institute launches our Aana Jaana report highlighting the value of air travel connections between Victoria and India for social and economic growth. Aana Jaana, a phrase used across India that means here and there, to-and-fro, captures the intent to better understand the value of rebuilding the people to people links between our two countries following the disruptions to mobility wrought by the COVID-19 pandemic.
This policy brief draws on the discussions from our stakeholder Roundtable, as part of a series the Institute is delivering for the Victorian Government. It highlights the opportunities for increased trade, education and business developments, as well as cultural exchanges, tourism and family visits in both Australia and India if flight options can be maximised to their potential.
