The Institute partnered with Institute for Security Studies in Pretoria to deliver an Australia-India-South Africa Maritime Defence Roundtable with leading academic experts and government officials.
This roundtable explored opportunities for trilateral cooperation and the role Australia, India and South Africa play in maritime ocean security and in turn, identify ways we can build greater opportunities for partnerships between our three countries.
As South Africa, Australia and India are the anchors of the Indian Ocean, our shared commonality and interest lies with building peace and security.
