Australia-India Workshop: Digital Humanities and Intelligent Futures
Australia and India have made significant advances in different aspects of digital and AI technologies. The rapid expansion of information and communication technologies (ICT), digital datasets and innovations in machine learning have opened new areas of research at the intersection of computing, humanities, and social sciences.
To boost collaborative research, the Australia India Institute and the Centre for Digital futures, School of Communication and Arts, University of Queensland hosted a two-day workshop on 30 and 31 October, 2023. It was an opportunity to enhance collaborative bilateral research in digital humanities and intelligent futures, as well as network with researchers from both Australia and India. The event was crafted to encourage participation, featuring multiple breakout room discussions with the audience.
