Ms Briena Barrett

Briena manages the Australian Researcher Cooperation Hub India – a digital platform encouraging researcher collaboration between India and Australia. In addition to steering this pivotal role, she lends her executive support to the Institute’s education research program.

With over a decade of experience in communications and broadcast journalism, Briena is a passionate storyteller. In recent roles, Briena has supported the communication and media activities of several Australian universities and the Victorian Government. She joined the Australia India Institute in 2021, while she was living in New Delhi.
