Susan Hunt began her career in Australia as the Executive Director of the Brisbane Visitors and Convention Bureau. She subsequently held positions as Private Secretary to the Federal Minister for Tourism, Secretary to the Australian Government Inquiry into Tourism (which restructured the Australian Tourist Commission) and Director of the Federal Department of Sport, Recreation and Tourism.

Susan then took on the role of Marketing Director of the NSW Tourism Commission, before becoming the foundation Executive Director of the Tourism Task Force (TTF) – a non-partisan private sector lobby group established to represent tourism interests at the highest level of Government and industry.

Susan was then recruited to the Sydney Olympic Bid as Executive Manager, Communications where she developed the communications strategy used by the Bid Committee to secure the 2000 Olympics for Sydney.

She then moved to the private sector as Group Account Director of Australia’s largest advertising firm specialising in the tourism, leisure and sports industries.

In 2000 Susan relocated to the UK and spearheaded the sponsorship strategy for the 2002 Manchester Commonwealth Games and in 2007, relocated to New Delhi to undertake a similar role for the Delhi 2010 Commonwealth Games.

Susan still resides in India, is married to her husband Rajiv and is running her own business in the aquatics industry.
