Professor Vineeta Sirohi is a Professor in the Department of Educational Administration at the National Institute of Educational Planning and Administration (NIEPA), New Delhi. She is a member of Editorial Board of the Journal of Educational Planning and Administration of NIEPA. Awarded with Silver Medal in Post-Graduation (Psychology), she holds M.Phil and Ph.D degree in Psychology. She has over 30 years of experience in teaching, research, training, curriculum and material development, coordination of projects and programmes, administration and counselling, including 12 years of experience in Teacher Education.

National awardee for innovative research paper in all India competition on research in innovative experiments and practices in teaching (NCERT). As country expert, she contributed to a major UNESCO research study on School to Work Transition in Asia and Pacific, and a study on Curriculum and Skills in South Asia and South East Asia sponsored by R4D Washington, DC. Also conducted an all India study on Involvement of Teachers in Non-Teaching Activities sponsored by the Ministry of Education, Government of India. She was a member of editorial board for the UNESCO TVET report-Vocational Education First: State of the Education Report for India 2020. She is Adviser/Subject Expert for Union Public Service Commission; Member Training Advisory Board, CBSE; Member of the Editorial Board of Indian Journal of Vocational Education PSSCIVE (NCERT); Member of the Institute Advisory Board, PSSCIVE (NCERT) and Member Board of Studies, University School of Education, GGSIP University, Delhi.

Her areas of work include Skill Development and Vocational Education, Educational Psychology, Educational Management, Leadership, Teacher Management, Teacher Education.
