The Australia India Institute hosted its Annual Oration in Gandhinagar on 7 November.
This year, The Hon. Jason Clare MP, Australia’s Minister for Education, delivered the Institute’s Annual Oration. Minister Clare highlighted Australia’s educational strengths and shared his vision for using education to strengthen Australia-India relations and promote nation-building. The Annual Oration, which started in 2016 in New Delhi, aims to bring our two countries closer.
Key dignitaries included the Hon Dharmendra Pradhan, Indian Minister of Education and Minister of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, the Hon. Harsh Sanghavi (Minister of State, Gujarat-Home, Industries, Youth, Sports and Culture), Catriona Jackson, Chief Executive of Universities Australia, and Professor Renée Leon, Vice Chancellor of Charles Sturt University.
