Higher Education
Strengthening the bond between Australia and India’s higher education sectors.
In the dynamic landscape of higher education, the partnership between Australia and India stands out as a prime example of collaboration and innovation. Over the last two decades, this relationship has grown rapidly as both nations increasingly recognise the mutual benefits of cooperation.
The Australia India Institute is at the forefront of expanding and fortifying these collaborative ties. A key aspect of our work involves enhancing research collaboration between Australia and India. Through our platform, the Australian Researcher Cooperation Hub-India (ARCH-India), we foster bilateral researcher connections and offer mentorship opportunities for emerging researchers in both countries. Our knowledge-building activities, such as the Australia India InnovEd Forums and the Australia-India Education Researcher forums, bring together experts to exchange ideas and identify new avenues for collaboration.
Additionally, we conduct our own research to promote engagement across the sector. Our Compendium, Mapping Higher Education Engagement between Australia and India, is a leading example of our efforts to provide comprehensive analysis and information to enhance networks and deepen bilateral cooperation in higher education.
