Australian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Defence, the Hon. Richard Marles MP, launched the Institute’s new landmark research report, ‘Building a Resilient Australia India Defence Relationship: Options for the Next Decade’, at Parliament House in Canberra.
Co-authored by research fellow Kim Heriot-Darragh in partnership with Dr Gaurav Saini from Council for Strategic Defense Research, this report outlines the next decade of the Australia India defence relationship and provides concrete policy options for the services to advance the relationship amidst the geopolitical uncertainty facing the Indo-Pacific. Building a Resilient Australia India Defence Relationship: Options for the Next Decade details strategic and logical steps to further the defence relationship between Australia and India.
