EnGENDERing International Relations: An Australia-India Dialogue
Thank you Centre for Policy Research (CPR) and Women in Security Conflict Management and Peace (WISCOMP) for partnering with The Institute in New Delhi for a roundtable on Engendering International Relations, an Australia-India Dialogue.
The roundtable moderated by our CEO, The Hon. Lisa Singh, brought together leading academics, international relations scholars, policy experts, practitioners, diplomats, strategists and journalists from India and Australia to share their views and experiences on gender and security issues and highlighted the challenge of foreign policy largely being untenanted by women. The discussions focused on the urgent need to explore newer ways to ensure women’s participation in framing the peace, security, and development agendas.
This report was published by WISCOMP and summarises the key ideas shared by speakers at the roundtable.
