Gandhi: on the Good Human Life

The Australia India Institute invites you to a discussion on, “Gandhi: on the Good Human Life” with Visiting Fellow, Professor Bindu Puri, a leading expert on Mahatma Gandhi, who will be in conversation with Lisa Singh.

At a time of global uncertainty, displacement, conflict and change in the world order, Professor Puri will share her insights on the integrity between Gandhi’s ideas, their continuity with classical Indian philosophy and how these ideas relate to the world today. This talk will cover Gandhian ethics, including the continuity between truth and non-violence, compassion, love and forgiveness.
