Dr Christopher Kremmer is Senior Lecturer in Literary Journalism and Philosophies of Journalism at the University of New South Wales, Sydney. A former India & South Asia correspondent for the Sydney Morning Herald, The Age, and the Australian Broadcasting Corporation, his work on India spans 30 years. He is the author of Inhaling the Mahatma, a portrait of the history, religions, politics and development of contemporary India, and co-author of Beyond the Lost Decade: Report of the Australia India Institute’s Perceptions Taskforce. A former president of the New Delhi-based Foreign Correspondents’ Association of South Asia, he is based in Sydney and New Delhi.
