The Australia India Institute in partnership with Girls Run The World hosted a roundtable on ‘Women Shaping Foreign Policy: Life in a Think Tank’ to expose emerging women leaders in international relations to the role of think tanks in influencing policy developments across the Indo-Pacific.
Through a panel discussion with leading women researchers with expertise in the Indo-Pacific, the conversation unpacked what a day in the life of a think tank looks like, challenges and opportunities in the research sphere and the importance of advancing gender equity in global policy. The evening concluded with an open Q&A and informal networking to inspire meaningful connections and collaboration.
The panel included:
- Principal Research Fellow at La Trobe University Centre for Global Security, Ambika Vishwanath
- Research Fellow at Australia India Institute, Grace Corcoran
- Arts and Diplomacy Programs Lead Asialink, Sabrina Alday.
- Communications and Programs Coordinator Michaela Jansens (Moderator)
