Australia and India have a long history of collaboration in space, including the Chandrayaan-3 mission in 2023.
In partnership with the Australian Space Agency and University of Technology Sydney, the Institute delivered the ‘Australia-India Space Cooperation: Unlocking International Potential’ panel discussion highlighting the three grantees sharing in a total of $18 million through the International Space Investment India Projects (ISI India Project) program.
The grantees are integral to the collaboration between Australia and India in the development of space technology, helping address some of our greatest challenges of today like climate change, while also driving gains in areas like advanced manufacturing and artificial intelligence.
The announcement of the ISI India Project grantees and the panel discussion on joint strategic space projects demonstrates a strong commitment to the bilateral relationship.
