Our Defence Special Visitors Program aims to foster dialogue and build connections on issues of strategic importance between India and Australia. Each year, the Institute invites 4 experts from India to spend two weeks engaging in a range of site visits, meetings and networking opportunities in Sydney, Canberra and Perth.
The overarching theme of the 2025 Defence Special Visitors Program is the ways in which Australia and India are working with other South Asian Countries to support Indian Ocean Security.
The program provides you with the opportunity to widen your Australian networks, hear more about Australia’s India and Indian Ocean cooperation ambitions, and share your research insights across Australia.
