The Australia India Institute invites you to a webinar to launch its new report Securing Indo-Pacific Submarine Cable Networks: Options for Australia-India Cooperation on Monday, December 1 at 5.30pm AEDT / 12pm IST.
Submarine cable networks are integral to modern society as the backbone of digital information flows. These critical infrastructure networks, which carry approximately 99% of data traffic globally, are constantly evolving, expanding and being reconfigured. However, as geopolitical tensions rise globally, submarine cable networks are increasingly contested. This report, Securing Indo-Pacific Submarine Cable Networks: Options for Australia-India Cooperation, is intended to inform policymakers and industry leaders in both nations and to guide Australia’s and India’s approach to submarine cable security.
Join report authors and leading experts as they unpack how Australia and India can work together to better promote Indo-Pacific submarine cable network security.
